The Vortex Viper HD Angled Spotting Scope brings distant wildlife into clear view, combining HD optics with variable magnification and durable construction. Available in 15–45x65 and 20–60x85, it offers two options for birdwatching, nature observation and exploring distant landscapes.

Choose the smaller 15–45x65 for easier transport between viewing locations, or the larger 20–60x85 for greater magnification when studying distant birds and wildlife. Both feature an angled eyepiece for comfortable observation from a tripod.

The Viper HD optical system helps reveal fine detail and natural colours while reducing colour fringing. XR Plus anti-reflective lens coatings and dielectric prism coatings improve light transmission, supporting bright, clear views in changing conditions.

Variable magnification lets you start with a wider view to locate wildlife, then increase the zoom to study plumage, markings and behaviour. This is particularly useful when watching across wetlands, along coastlines or over open countryside.

The angled viewing position suits longer observation sessions and makes sharing a tripod-mounted scope between observers of different heights more convenient. Helical focusing allows precise adjustments as subjects move or viewing distances change.

Rubber armour provides grip and external protection, while ArmorTek coating helps protect exposed lenses against scratches, oil and dirt. Argon purging and O-ring seals provide waterproof and fogproof performance for outdoor use.
