The Vortex Crossfire HD Straight Spotting Scope combines clear HD optics, variable magnification and durable construction for birdwatching and wildlife observation. Available in 12–36x50, 16–48x65 and 20–60x80 configurations, the range provides options for travelling light, everyday nature watching and studying distant subjects across open habitats.

The straight eyepiece provides a direct viewing position that makes aligning the scope with a subject intuitive. Fully multi-coated lenses, helical focusing and an Arca-Swiss compatible mounting foot support straightforward operation, while waterproof and fogproof construction provides reassurance when conditions change.

The Crossfire HD optical system uses selected glass elements to reduce colour fringing and provide natural colour reproduction and clear detail. This helps observers examine plumage, distinguish identifying markings and follow wildlife behaviour from a comfortable distance.

Anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces improve light transmission. These fully multi-coated lenses support image clarity when observing shaded woodland, overcast landscapes and wildlife around dawn or dusk.

Variable zoom lets you begin at lower magnification to locate a bird or animal, then increase the power to examine it more closely. The straight viewing layout is particularly convenient when looking towards subjects at a similar height, including observation from hides or a vehicle with a suitable window mount.

A helical focus ring provides adjustment around the scope body while maintaining a streamlined profile for packing and handling. Rubber armouring adds a secure grip and protects the exterior during regular outdoor use.

Nitrogen purging and O-ring seals protect against internal fogging and water ingress. The shockproof construction makes the Crossfire HD a practical companion for visits to nature reserves, wetlands and coastal viewpoints.

The mounting foot attaches directly to compatible Arca-Swiss tripod heads. Other tripod or car-window mounting systems may require an adapter. Every model includes protective covers and is backed by the Vortex VIP lifetime warranty.
