The Vortex Crossfire HD Angled Spotting Scope brings distant birds and wildlife into closer view, combining HD optics with variable magnification and durable outdoor construction. Available in 12–36x50, 16–48x65 and 20–60x80 configurations, the range offers a choice of sizes for portable nature observation, everyday birdwatching and detailed viewing across larger landscapes.

Each model features an angled eyepiece, fully multi-coated lenses and helical focusing. Waterproof, fogproof construction and protective rubber armouring support regular outdoor use, while an Arca-Swiss compatible mounting foot makes attachment to a suitable tripod head straightforward.

Further Information

The Crossfire HD optical system uses selected glass elements to reduce colour fringing and deliver clear detail with natural colour reproduction. This helps observers study plumage, distinguish markings and appreciate wildlife at distances beyond the comfortable reach of binoculars.

Fully multi-coated lenses feature anti-reflective coatings across all air-to-glass surfaces. These improve light transmission, supporting image clarity when observing shaded habitats or working in lower light.

Variable magnification allows users to begin with a wider view to locate a subject, then increase the zoom to examine detail. The angled viewing position is useful for extended tripod observation and makes it convenient for people of different heights to share the scope.

The helical focus ring sits around the scope body, providing a streamlined shape that is easy to pack and mount. Rubber armouring adds external protection and a secure grip when handling the scope outdoors.

Nitrogen purging and O-ring seals protect against internal fogging and water ingress. The shockproof construction supports everyday field use, from garden birdwatching to visits to coastal reserves and wetlands.

An Arca-Swiss compatible foot allows direct attachment to compatible tripod heads. The scope can also be used with suitable alternative tripod or car-window mounts, with an adapter where required.
