The PIXFRA Mile 3 M625 LRF combines detailed thermal imaging with an integrated laser rangefinder, helping wildlife observers locate animals and measure distances through one compact device. Its 640 × 512 thermal sensor, ≤15mK NETD sensitivity and 25mm F1.0 lens reveal subtle temperature differences during daylight and after dark.

A wide 17.4° field of view makes it easy to scan habitats and follow moving wildlife, while the built-in rangefinder measures distances up to 1,000 metres with a stated accuracy of ±1 metre. Complete with a 1920 × 1080 OLED display, PIPS 3.0 Pro technology and onboard recording, the M625 LRF offers a versatile observation tool within a magnesium-alloy body weighing no more than 313g.

Further Information

The PIXFRA Mile 3 M625 LRF uses a 640 × 512 vanadium oxide thermal detector with a 12μm pixel pitch. By displaying temperature differences without relying on visible light, it helps observers locate wildlife during nocturnal surveys, evening walks and early-morning observation.

Thermal sensitivity of ≤15mK NETD at F1.0 supports the detection of small temperature differences between animals and their surroundings. The 25mm F1.0 objective lens and PIPS 3.0 Pro technology form the core of its thermal imaging system, with a manufacturer-stated detection distance of 1,300 metres.

The integrated laser rangefinder adds useful distance information to the observation experience. With a measuring range of up to 1,000 metres and stated accuracy of ±1 metre, it helps establish the distance to an observed subject or landscape feature without switching to a separate instrument.

A broad field of view measuring 30.6 × 24.4 metres at 100 metres provides plenty of surrounding context when scanning woodland edges, fields and wetlands. The 1.2× base magnification supports this wide viewing experience, while 1–8× digital zoom allows the displayed image to be enlarged.

Manual focusing allows the image to be adjusted for different observation distances, with a close-focus distance of one metre. The 50Hz frame rate supports smooth viewing when moving across a scene or following animals.

The 0.49-inch OLED display has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 and is paired with adjustable dioptre correction. Six thermal colour palettes—White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Alarm, Green Hot and Sepia—allow users to choose their preferred image presentation.

Picture-in-Picture, Hot Spot Tracking and an integrated compass provide additional observation tools. A control wheel combines three functions, keeping the operating layout compact.

Photograph and video recording allow wildlife encounters to be saved to the built-in 64GB memory. The monocular also includes a microphone, local media album and Wi-Fi hotspot, supporting the documentation and review of observations.

A quick-change rechargeable 18650 lithium battery provides at least five hours of operation at 25°C with Wi-Fi switched off. Its replaceable design allows a charged spare to be carried for longer outings.

The magnesium-alloy housing combines durability with a net weight of no more than 313g. IP67 protection, an operating temperature range of -30°C to +55°C and a standard ¼″-20 mounting thread make the M625 LRF suitable for both handheld observation and use with a compatible support.
